Positive, Had a great 4-night stay in an Interior Double Room without a view. The place was super clean, and I loved the continental breakfast with a variety of yummy options. The staff were really helpful, smoothing out a few minor issues we had. Highly recommend it! 😊

casa mathilda was almost lovely, except for a few things. the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, which really took away from the ambiance. imagine my shock when, after a full 4 nights, my towels were never replaced! one would think paying guests deserve fresh towels. i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

Charming Barcelona getaway 🇪🇸✨
The brekkie was lekker, fresh fruits and you can make your own coffee! The vibe was chill, with a cozy terrace to relax. Chommie at reception was super helpful, showed us the best spots around!
Just a little noisy at times, could hear the school kids playing nearby, but not too bad.

I had a wonderful stay while I was in town to see the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and other attractions. The room was impeccable, with soft linens and plenty of thoughtful details like complimentary drinks and snacks. The terrace was a delightful spot to enjoy my breakfast, making the mornings even more enjoyable. Plus, being just a short walk from Casa Batllo was a huge plus while exploring the city!

The breakfast featured delightful fresh fruits and excellent coffee. Our room was quite dark with no windows.

The atmosphere is cozy with only 14 rooms, ensuring a peaceful stay. The terrace is a nice touch for enjoying evenings outdoors.
The room we stayed in had an unsettling odor from the shower drain. On top of that, we only had a top sheet. no duvet, which is rather unusual for a multi-night stay. Noise levels were noticeable, especially from the elevator and other guests in the building, impacting our comfort. The towels were never changed during our entire stay, and the lack of a coffee kettle in the room forced us to rely on a paid communal coffee machine.

Such a cozy spot in the city
This place is super charming! The staff were always around when you needed something, and they even remembered my name. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruits. The only thing to keep in mind is the school nearby, as the kids can get a bit loud during the day, which was kinda distracting at times.

Staying here with our four babies was a treat! The kids enjoyed the charming common area, where we relaxed while the staff brought us an iron for our clothes. We loved the location, being super close to cool spots like Rambla del Raval which offered some great family-friendly activities.
My wife says that it would be great to have more family-friendly meal options during our stay.

The room was clean and comfy, with a giant king-sized bed that had soft linens and pillows. I loved the little touches like free water, tea, and cookies. The bathroom was nice, too. Plus, the common area was cozy, perfect for relaxing or working. The only downside was I never got to meet the staff in person, but they arranged everything smoothly. No breakfast because I had an early train, but it sounded delicious. Absolutely loved my stay!

My stay at Casa Mathilda Bed & Breakfast was exceptional. The location was perfect for business, just a short walk to my meetings, and the courtyard provided a pleasant space for working and relaxing. The breakfast included a variety of traditional Spanish dishes, fresh fruit, and coffee throughout the day, which was incredibly convenient. Thanks to the helpful staff, I was able to get printing done seamlessly and they were very accommodating with any requests.
Occasionally, noise from the nearby school playground could be distracting during the day.
